The Art of Education's first non-virtual office space was a delight to design. With only one site visit, we made this new workspace come to life from 2,000 miles away.
Sway Concepts directed a multi-phase signage project for The Shops on Lake Avenue, a shopping center in Pasadena, California. It included wayfinding and signage design, as well its eventual fabrication and installation.
We worked with three area artists to develop and install several pieces of public artwork at The Village at San Antonio Center in Mountain View, California. The artwork paid homage to the site's history as the birthplace of Silicon Valley.
Sway Concepts is a firm committed to solving a variety of design challenges in the built environment
You can often find us working as part of a large team of consultants in the world of real estate development, managing signage, public artwork, and other projects for the developer.
We also take on wayfinding problems, including signage design, a specialty driven by our love of organization and navigation.
Sway Concepts is also at home designing interior spaces, mostly for retail and office use. We especially enjoy helping our clients define both their customer-facing brand and the employee culture.
"I am very happy with Sway Concepts. She was able to give us great ideas and a design that we will be proud of for a very long time. Her quality of work and professionalism was just what we needed."

Are we creatives or project managers?
We're both! Engage us on projects requiring both creativity and pragmatism
What is
wayfinding?
It's how we
navigate physical spaces using obvious signals like signs and not so obvious
signals like lighting hierarchies.
Our office is location-flexible
